About the AYP Overview Course

A short video describing what this course covers.

About the teacher

Tristan began the practice of yoga asana in 1985 at school when he was 16 years old. At the age of 19 he travelled to the Himalayas to live in a Mahayana Buddhist monastery. This was really his first introduction to the higher teachings and to the spiritual life. He had his first awakening experience a year later, after a meditation retreat in a Buddhist cave monastery in Thailand. He experienced the awakening of kundalini the following year, in 1991.

Over the next 19 years he continued to study meditation and yoga and travelled to Nepal, Sri Lanka and especially India as often as possible. He continued to study and practice in various ashrams and monasteries.

He now teaches yoga internationally, specializing in the teaching of meditation, pranayama, and the philosophy of yoga.

Course Testimonial

"I am glad that I took part in this short but very good course. I think this is a great supplement to the knowledge available on the AYP websites, which contain a lot of information, real treasures of knowledge, but sometimes you can get a little lost in it. In this course, Tristan presented us with the essence of this knowledge, you could say AYP in a nutshell, and he did it, as always, very professionally and beautifully. In my opinion, this course is very good for beginner AYP practitioners, but more experienced ones can benefit as well."
